Time..

Time is too slow for those who wait,

Too swift for those who fear,

Too long for those who grieve,

Too short for those who rejoice,

But for those who love,

Time is eternity.

Good friends

Good friends are hard to find.
Good friends are easy to love.
Good friends are presents that last forever
and that feel like gift from above.

Good friends are one in a million.
Good friends are stories to share.
Good friends know the path to your happiness,
and they walk with you all the way there.

Good friends are lives overlapping.
Good friends are laughters and tears.
Good friends are emotions so deep
that the trust just keeps growing over the years.

Good friends are hard to find.
Good friends are easy to adore.
And you've been such a good friend to me
...that I could ask for nothing more.
Thanks for being such a wonderful friend.

A friend is

1% Funny
2% Sweet
3% Caring
4% Loving and
90% Good looking

That's why I am your friend

Keep me in your prayers

What I've learnt

I've learnt that if someone says something unkind about me,
I must live so that no one will believe it.

I've learnt that you can make someone's day
by simply sending them a little note.

I've learnt that the greater a person's sense of guilt,
the greater his or her needs to cast blame on others.

I've learnt that no matter what happens,
or how bad it seems today, life does go on,
and it will be better tomorrow.

I've learnt that motel mattresses are better
on the side away from the phone.

I've learnt that you can tell a lot about a man
by the way he handles these three things,
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.

I've learnt that regardless of your relationship with your parents,
you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.

I've learnt that making a 'living'
is not the same thing as making a 'life'.

I've learnt that life sometimes gives you a second chance.

I've learnt that you should't go through life
with a catcher's mitt on both hands.
You need to be able to throw something back.

I've learnt that if you pursue happiness,
it will elude you.
But if you focus on your family, the needs of others, your work, meeting new people,
and doing the very best you can,
happiness will find you.

I've learnt that whenever I decide something with kindness,
I usually make the right decision.

I've learnt that even when I have pains,
I don't have to be one.

I've learnt that every day you should reach out and touch someone.
People love human touches - holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.

I've learn that I still have a lot to learn.

l-o-v-e

"I don't pretend to know what love is for everyone, but I can tell you what it is for me;
love is knowing all about someone, and still wanting to be with them more than any other person;
love is trusting them enough to tell them everything about yourself, including the things you might be ashamed of;
love is feeling comfortable and safe with someone, but still getting weak knees when they walk into a room and smile at you."

"The minute I heard my first love story I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They're in each other all along."

"Love is what makes two people sit in the middle of a bench when there is plenty of room at both ends."

"The most wonderful of all things in life, I believe, is the discovery of another human being with whom one's relationship has a growing depth, beauty, and joy as the years increase. This inner progressiveness of love between two human beings is a most marvelous thing; it cannot be found by looking for it or by passionately wishing for it. It is a sort of divine accident, and the most wonderful of all things in life."

"There is no feeling more comforting and consoling than knowing you are next to the one you love."

"If I could be anything in the world I would want to be a teardrop because I would be born in your eyes, live on your cheeks, and die on your lips."

"For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."

"How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being."

"Oh the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are."

"When I say 'I love you', it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman."

"You can't stop loving or wanting to love because when it's right, it's the best thing in the world. When you're in a relationship and it's good, even if nothing else in your life is right, you feel like your whole world is complete."

"Here is the deepest secret nobody knows.
Here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
And the sky of the sky of a tree called life;
Which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide.
And this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart.
I carry your heart.
I carry it in my heart."

Smile =)

A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside.

Life is short but a smile takes barely a second.

Every tear has a smile behind it.

A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.

A good neighbour is a fellow who smiles at you over the back fence, but doesn't climb over it.

If you see a friend without a smile, give him one of yours.

A smile starts on the lips, a grin spreads to the eyes, a chuckle comes from the belly, but a good laugh bursts forth from the soul, overflows, and bubbles all around.

Because of your smile, you make life more beautiful.

Too often we underestimate the power of a smile, which have to potential to turn a life around.

Smiles are the language of love.

The real man smiles in trouble, gathers strength from distress, and grows brave by reflection.

A smile is an inexpensive way to change your looks.

All people smile in the same language.

Children smile on the average 400 times/day, adults: 15 times/day. Ever wonder why?

A warm smile is the universal language of kindness.

If I thought that a smile of mine, might linger the whole day through and ligten some heart with a heavier part, I'd not withhold it - would you?

Smile because God gave humans this beautiful gift - a smile...

11 rules for health life + love

  1. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.
  2. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.
  3. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling it was the best conversation you've ever had.
  4. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.
  5. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone - but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
  6. Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.
  7. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you only have one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.
  8. Always put yourself in others' shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.
  9. A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress, a loving word may heal and bless.
  10. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
  11. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.
